Great park in DFW area. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always a solid place to stay with easy access to I-20. Lot of amenities nearby.

Most convenient park to metro Houston beside South Main RV Park which is about a mile closer than Lakeview. Lakeview is new, clean, has nice facilities, and is well maintained. Sites are small but when ranking against other Houston RV parks it has to have a high rating. I like Rayford and Advanced but given Lakeview's location it edges the others out.

For the Houston area, this park is a 10, it is almost a 10 standing alone. Very close to Pearland, a few blocks from a fine Bass Pro Shops. About 10 minutes from loop 610 and Reliant Stadium. You should definitely check this park out if you stay in Houston very often. In my opinion it is on par or better than Rayford Crossing in Spring/ The Woodlands. Before settling on this park as our Houston destination, I will check out the Lakeview Park on Main St as well and South Main Rv Park as they seem to be a little bit closer to the City

This park was more crowded than I could have imagined. Given, it was a Sat in June still very crowded. The previous reviews are correct that there are many activities for young children, a great play room for toddlers and a great water park Being this is a kids park, the amount of alcohol being drank and cigarettes being smoked is record breaking

Good solid park, however, it doesnt quite live up to the hype, maybe because the water in the river was very low. Lots of amenities, above average sized spots for this type of park, and beauty, shade around the river earn this park a good rating, but I'd probably try somewhere else next time

We stayed here because we thought it was close to Fort Worth; it is 20 plus miles from the guts of Fort Worth so it is not that convenient. It is about eight miles south of I-20. Grass needed mowing. We had a decent site close to the water, but if you had an outer loop site it looked tight and unappealing. We won't go back. Worth a stay if you are going to be enjoying the lake; otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

Like my parks with great scenery, if you get the right site, the a stay can be close to perfect. A river front site is great, especially for motorhome as you can pull straight in. If you are looking for river front camping this is hard to beat.

Reviews below hit the nail on the head, but park is dated and some spots are small ans peculiar. If you can get one of the four or five spots on the river front then this place may jump to a 9 or 10 otherwise it is average to below average, but right in Marble Falls

The other posts are extrememly accurate, however, if you ar travelling on hwy 21 then the park has 4 or 5 pull throughs right at the front, if you can deal with road traffic is a fine overnight stop if you need full hook ups, otherwise, mostly permanent residents. If you are visiting there has to be something better.

We have stayed at this park numerous times, for stop overs and for First Monday Trade Days. It is always a top notch experience. Hard to believe, but they keep improving. I would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here one year ago and gave the park an 8 and thought it had a lot of promise. Now a year later, I was concerned about staying here again after the negative reviews. However, our Friday over night stay was very pleasant. The park was completely booked. The crowd is younger families and lots of golf carts. Management seems to heeding the negative advice as I saw management and employees constantly. New rules have also been implemented. We enjoy it as an overnight stay on I 10. The exit where it is located has many great eating options.

One of the best KOAs we have stayed at when considering location and amenities. Great playground for kids. Easy to maneuver around the campground. Like most KOAs sites are pretty narrow but flat and long. I'd stay here again if in ABQ but would consider the American RV Park as well.

We stayed at Santa Fe Skies last time, and werent impressed so we tried Rancheros. I liked it better, but for most folks it is going to be a coin toss. They are about the same distance from town, Rancheros has a little more rustic, outdoorsy feel. Staff was very helpful.

Nice KOA with somewhat larger site than most KOA's. Other posts are correct, that construction makes it a little more difficult to get park, but still pretty easy on/off I-20. I will stay here again.

Standard KOA for this area, easy access off I-40 with normal KOA features. Very friendly staff. Probably the best in Tucumcari.

For Socorro, this is a good park, average for a stop over or for a couple days in the grand scheme of things. The staff was very nice. Lots of drawbacks, dusty narrow sites, but if you need full hookups it's worth a stay.

Very typical solid state park. No sewer or rating would be higher. Very large, private sites. Most of the sites are on small loops with lots of mesquite trees which add to the privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

Typical Texas State Park camping, however lot of pull through sites. The Railroad is on site and the railroad organization runs the park. Park is a little close to the road but overall very sold park. Could get crowded during railroad events, we were the only ones there during a Feb weekend which probably added to our enjoyment.

Beautiful state park. Excellent log cabin and mission for viewing. Drawbacks are the park is very small, only a few sites. We stayed in site 14 and it was huge - big enough - for 43 ft motorhome +. Only three or four sites have sewer, ours did not. If they had more sites with sewer, park would get a higher rating. I'd go back.

We checked out this park since it seemed to be in a good location in Fort Worth. Unfortunately it was only a parking lot and seemed a bit unsafe. We did not stay. I would recommend checking it out before planning a stay. Spaces seemed very tight, but it was in a convenient location for Fort Worth

An extremely good Corp of Engineers Park. It is hard to get a premium site, but if you do it is well worth it, as they are very good waterfront sites. Well maintained with a great lake. There are nice long concrete slabs, metal picnic tables, and nice fire rings. Definitely a 9 and possibly a 10 rating if it had sewer.

Stayed at this park multiple times, first time to stay during First Monday Trades days. They are still expanding and maintaining their first class resort. Saturday night they hosted a live band and BBQ which was all very enjoyable. Great to stay a few nights or a stopover, all first class.

Too many permanent residents to get a higher rating. Lot of loose dogs. Typical marina commercial RV park, not much space between sites. Main positive is water front sites, would be great if you were boating etc. It appears they are trying to upgrade facilities. I would check this place before planned a long weekend there.

As usual, the other posts are pretty much right on. Extremely well maintained. If you know what you are getting into it is one of the best private parks you could visit. Premium sites have palapa bars and outdoor kitchens; this helped make our stay one of the few tens we have visited.

Other reviews are all pretty accurate. An above average park, but we stayed here when there was heavy snow, everything was muddy - which probably made our rating decrease at least a point. The high point is the views from the park, other than that pretty plain. Hard to believe this is the best spot to camp in Santa Fe, but we will probably try it again next time if we come back to Santa Fe.

An average stop over. There is a sulfur smell. Other reviews are pretty accurate, so consider what you are rating against.

Don't stay here, all permanent residents, not an option.

This is a very clean and new feel, well laid out park. Right next door to a Camping World so it is easy to have your rig worked on, if needed. It is in a questionable part of town, but great overnighter (very close to I-10) or extended stay if you had to spend time in Tucson.

Nice location, nice views of the water and marina are close, as well as two great restaurants. First time to SD so I cant compare to other places, but if are wondering where to stay, you probably cant wrong with this place. Only downside is spaces are tight, but there are shrubs between each spot which gives you a sense of privacy

The previous recent reviews hit it on the head. Great overnight spot on the west side of Houston.

Just as the other reviews have said, solid camp ground. Very little room between the spots is the biggest drawback. Closest place I could find to Texas Stadium. I will stay here again.

Great overnight spot, but checked some of the other parks and was a little more impressed. Average for this part of the country as far as little grass, lots of gravel, however, fairly large spots. Van Horn has beautiful mountain views.

Great over night spot just as the other reviews have said. Great sunset. Nice hosts. I'd stay here again if passing through.

Beautiful area with the most helpful friendly staff i have ever encountered. The sites (dusty and small) are not as good as some other Texas State Parks but definitely worth a stay.

An above average KOA with terraced sites which gives you some privacy. A little closer to town than Cloud nine, might look into it next time though.

Nice stop over location. Clean, rural setting. Nicest owner we have ever dealt with. He met us in town and escorted us to the park. It was late and raining. Several seasonal or permanent residents.

Simple lakeside park. Pretty good size pull thru spaces. Great restaurant at the marina. Easy access to water if you are boater, but none if you are swimmer etc. Very clean, we would stay again as a stop over.

Second time to stay at Campground, last rating was a 10 and it has actually gotten better. They are still adding on. Nicest clubhouses I have been in at an RV park. Great facilities.

Small sites that weren't mowed, we had to get two for our 38 foot motorhome and tow vehicle. However, we had semi nice water view with a pull up boat slot. Good store, restaurant, and boat ramp. Adequate but would try somewhere else next time.

Very nice, clean RV resort. Nice pool, nice area for the kids. Nice size sites. Good location for Sea World etc., a pretty good drive to downtown We did bust our tow hitch when leaving our site, so be careful.

I almost agree 100% with the prior post. We stayed in the expensive premium spots too, right by the dog poop area. Good but not great. The rocked pads and walk ways kill this place. Nice pool and nice commons area. Great restaurant and bar at the fishing pier, but the rocks have to go. If you don't live in the valley, it's a long way to drive to walk around on a lot of rocks. I might try the park at the end of the island next time (closer to the beach), i think it is a municipal park.

Clean park for the metro Houston area. Not much area between spots, but what do you expect. I know of no other park that is easier to get to for the Houston area.

It has to get a 10 because of the location. If you get a good site close to the front, you are literally right on the beach. If this is what you want this park is a ten. Nice pools and staff. If you had a bad site I can see where you rating would be low, but we were on the second row with nice view. Lots of sand in the coach.

Older campground resort. I'd probably rate it lower but it had some nice amenities. Well staffed and very nice and helpful. Clean but dated. Our pull through site was very small. I'd stay here again, but would try the state park first

Solid Corp of Engineers Park. Hard to get a premium site, but you could still see the lake with our rear site. Well maintained and great lake, however, restrooms and shower were unclean but it was Memorial Day weekend and the park was packed. I will go back.

Top of the line park. Very nice. Great, helpful staff. Wife was scared at first until she saw razor wire on top of brick fence. I wasnt not concerned about the security. I'd stay here again.

Terrific rv resort. Great pool. Great location. It would be a ten but the layout is not great ,and I saw the problems others complained about concerning small sites. I had to drive through the grass to get out as we left early one morning and other rigs prevented us from getting out.
